Handling
Films are fragile and precious. They are easily damaged and easily scratched. That’s why I take utmost care when managing films. Be assured that your film will be safe with me.
I always wear gloves when handling films. This is to prevent any damage done to the film and fingerprints as well. Also, I will use a blower to blow away any dust on the film, and also an anti-static cloth to wipe the film.
This is to prevent any dust or specks from sticking onto the film, allowing for the best results.
Workflow
Scans are made using the Epson V500.
Each photograph will be adjusted with Auto-Levels in order to preserve all colour information and details. State otherwise if you wish for minimal adjustments.
All colour scans are made in 48-bit colour (16 bit for each primary colour), while black & white scans are made in 16 bit.

Once I receive your film via mail, I will notify you via email.
Once I finish scanning, I will immediately mail your film back to you (and your photographs in CD/DVD if you specify) and retain your photographs for 5 days, before deleting it.
This is to ensure that should anything happen to the files while in the way to you, I can re-send another.
